STRATEGIC planning & visioning retreatS

Strogoff Consulting facilitates highly targeted strategic planning and visioning retreats with firm leaders, emerging leaders and project managers. Through a combination of guided group discussions, exercises, breakout sessions and individual assignments, retreats and training seminars result in leadership development plans, realistic evaluations of a firm’s strengths and weaknesses, candid discussions about how to position a firm for future success, and enthusiasm for embracing strategic changes.

As a former principal of an architecture/planning firm, and from the lessons learned from working with hundreds of A/E firms, Michael Strogoff approaches strategic planning with a strong understanding of the interrelationships between management, governance, leadership, cultural, business development, financial and strategic issues.  Michael also brings an ability to rapidly identify the heart of issues, which enables him to challenge retreat participants and guide firms toward targeted and implementable action plans.

Retreat Topics Often Include:
  • Visioning and goal setting
  • Leadership planning
  • Strategic marketing opportunities
  • Growth, diversification and expansion strategies
  • Rebranding strategies
  • Client management and project delivery
  • Leveraging of resources and intellectual capital
  • Organizational restructuring
  • Governance models
