STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Armando L. Gonzalez, FAIA, works in the areas of strategic planning, marketing, business development, coaching, leadership development and problem-solving skills.

Armando is recognized by clients and public entities as an objective, strategic advisor, accomplished mentor and a highly effective facilitator. In 1980, he established Gonzalez Goodale Architects to provide quality architectural projects of broad public benefit. In collaboration with diverse, talented business partners, Armando guided many of the firm's marketing and strategic planning initiatives to build a highly successful and well-regarded practice. He has since successfully transitioned ownership of the practice to the new leadership group of the firm, now known as Practice (formerly GGA+, GGA Architects). Armando remains a trusted advisor to the firm and continues to contribute to the professional community at large.

Armando continues to bring his leadership to community initiatives and serves as a Founding Board Member of Community Design Group to support development in under-served communities.  Armando also serves as a lifetime Trustee and Board member of the Huntington Hospital of Pasadena. He is a graduate of the School of Architecture at University of Southern California.
