Connell Design Group, an interior architecture firm based just north of Seattle, merges with Ware Malcomb, an international design firm based in Irvine, California with 15 offices in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Panama.  Connell Design Group’s leadership team will assume key roles and enable Ware Malcomb to establish a strong presence throughout the vibrant Seattle metropolitan area.

Ware Malcomb CEO Lawrence R. Armstrong said many of Ware Malcomb’s corporate clients are in the Seattle market, so having an established office in Seattle was highly strategic.  He stated, “Connell Design Group has done a great job running a very successful business, and we will incorporate many of their approaches.”  Strogoff Consulting introduced the firms and advised Connell Design Group throughout the merger process.  The transaction closed within 30 days after the signing of a detailed Memorandum of Understanding.

We received strong interest from three interested buyers that Michael introduced us to.  For our merger with Ware Malcomb,
Michael guided the process at every stage and I think educated both sides on the multitude of details that had to be resolved
to make the final agreement possible. I couldn’t have managed it without him and I believe the Ware Malcomb executive team
was likewise impressed with the diligence and good intentions that he brought to the process. The merger has been a great success
for my team and for the Ware Malcomb family.
