Steven LaFrance, Founder of Learning for Action, a strategic advisory firm with offices in San Francisco and Seattle, welcomed three senior leaders as Shareholders. Emily Boer Drake, Jessica Xiomara Garcia and Alex Hildebrand have made significant contributions to the firm and will now help lead the firm into the future. With its expanded ownership team, Learning for Action is positioned to continue the mission-driven and community-based services. Steve LaFrance commented, “I am lifted by the spirit, determination, courage, and wisdom that Emily, Alex, and Jessica have and will continue to bring to LFA!”
About the process, Steven commented, "Thank you so much, Michael! I don’t even know what to say or where to start, perhaps because mostly this is an emotional/ feeling experience for which words are limited. Suffice it to say that I am full of gratitude for all the amazing support and guidance you provided."
Strogoff Consulting worked closely with Learning for Action throughout the ownership transition process, developed a valuation and series of cash flow models, crafted a set of ownership guidelines and buy-in options; facilitated meetings with the new owners, and coordinated input from the firm's legal and accounting advisors.
