SvR Design Company (SvR), a 32-person planning and design firm that integrates the skills of civil engineers, landscape architects, planners and sustainability experts, became part of MIG, a 175-person multi-disciplinary firm with a dozen offices up and down the West Coast and in New York, North Carolina and Denver. Each of SvR's Managing Principals will become Principals at MIG.
According to SvR’s Managing Principal, “Our goal has always been to help our clients deliver high-value solutions to complex challenges in the built environment. So when we began searching for a home for SvR's next round of evolution, MIG immediately rose to the top as the best strategic position to better serve our clients and their communities. MIG's depth of capabilities, philosophy, leadership team and compassion immediately resonated with us, and we saw tremendous potential to better serve our clients across a range of market sectors with MIG’s extensive portfolio of projects and personnel.”

Michael guided us throughout the search and skillfully helped us navigate the seemingly complex acquisition process.
He was a voice of reason as we worked closely with MIG and our two sets of attorneys and accountants to arrive at a framework
and set of agreements that met each of our primary goals.

“We are excited to add SvR to the MIG team,” says Daniel Iacofano, MIG’s CEO. “Their experience and expertise adds greater depth and value to MIG’s core services in landscape architecture, urban design and planning. In addition, SvR’s civil engineers are MIG’s first civil engineering team!”
