AXIS Architecture + Design, a noted San Francisco-based hospitality and multi-family architectural firm, elevated long-time team member and design practitioner Rory Carroll as the newest partner. Rory now joins Principal Architects Cory Creath and Shawn Alexander as firm partners.
“From the start of his tenure with us both Shawn and I have valued his contributions to the firm,” states Cory Creath, echoing fellow Principal Architect Shawn Alexander on Rory’s value. “Not only is he technically adept, but as both our clients and our team can attest, he’s simply a great personality to add to any project mix.”
Rory Carroll’s growth as a young practitioner in the architecture profession mirrors closely the growth of AXIS as a firm. He joined AXIS fresh out of UC Berkeley and quickly showed himself to be a solid contributor on his projects. His intellect makes him a problem solver who is capable of understanding what a given situation calls for and expeditiously finding appropriate solutions. His calm personality puts clients at ease when they realize that Rory has their needs in mind at all times.
Strogoff Consulting worked closely with AXIS Architecture + Design throughout the ownership transition process, including: developing a valuation, crafting a set of ownership guidelines and buy-in options; revising a shareholders agreement; coordinating input from the firm's legal and accounting advisors; and facilitating discussions between Cory Creath, Shawn Alexander and Rory Carroll.
