4240 Architecture, a 30-person Denver-based firm with a global reach, elevates 8 key people to Principals and Associate Principals. The firm’s portfolio spans a broad mix of market sectors including higher education, hospitality, mixed-use urban infill, multifamily residential, active senior living, resort, and workplace. The 4 new principals are also now shareholders.
“This expansion of leadership will allow us to continue to creatively serve the needs of our clients and attract the highest-performing talent and the brightest architectural minds to create a bench depth rivaling the best in the market,” said Lou Bieker, President of 4240.
Strogoff Consulting worked closely with 4240 Architecture to develop an Ownership and Leadership Transition framework that brings together the interests of the current principals and the eight new leaders. Services included interviewing the firm’s leadership team, developing a valuation and modifying the firm’s valuation methodology, crafting a set of ownership guidelines and buy-in options; coordinating input from the firm's legal and accounting advisors; and facilitating an implementation plan.
